Wow, I can't believe we are already halfway through this year. I hope the second half is as good as the first :)
Today is a red-letter day for my new friend Jill as Clementine went home this morning. I will sure miss my baby girl but she has a wonderful new family! And some unplanned company, as at the last minute I offered to send Ellie Mae along for a while until they are able to get Clementine a buddy of her own. Jill has already asked for dibs on our next foal but it would be quite a while for Clementine to be alone until the new baby will be ready to go home (especially if we get a spotted jennet foal, since I plan to keep her). I was happy to get a call that they arrived safely! Oh yeah and Fred too! They both are very lucky to be part of this really nice family!!
Did not have time to get a picture darn it but oh my you should have seen Hannah when I left for work this morning. Poor girl, her belly is so big that she can't curl up like a dog any more. She lays flat out on her side with her legs sticking out... it's gotta be soon!!! Any guesses on how many pups? Wade (Mikey's Wade) saw her this morning and said TWELVE! Yikes... I'm glad I don't believe that! But 5 or 6 wouldn't surprise me at all...
This is one of my favorite months as Independence Day is my favorite holiday and a week later is my birthday. Wish it wasn't so darn hot but can't have everything. So HAPPY JULY EVERYBODY :)
