yes they can get themselves into all kinds of trouble. when I was a kid our pony stuck his head through the wooden gate, made of 1x6 boards, anyway he had been leting himself out, it had a slide bar latch that my day made, well this time he got his halter caught and reared back and busted that gate off, made the awefullest rackedt and 6am, he was wearing the gate around his neck! silly pony, he wasnt hurt.
Lovin' life with 16 mini donkeys, 3 mini horses, 1 pony, 4 big horses, 1 mini mule, 12 dogs, 2 cats, 3 goats, 2 hens, 2 zebu (mini cows), 5 kids (and assorted grandhorses and granddogs) and, saving the best for last, my wonderful husband Randy ;)

I can't imagine any horse being calm enough to get that chair back off it's head, though. Wow. Crazy horses. lol!
