Good Grief!

What a long long day. Randy's family birthday lunch ended up about 2 hours late... I had a ton of things to do as usual on a weekend and did NOT need to be sitting around in town {sigh}... but we did get home in time for a lady to come out and see Seth and Charlie. She is looking for a companion for her lone donkey Willis.

And although Charlie was distant and obviously frightened, Seth attached himself to Patty and would NOT leave her alone. She was beaming - "He picked ME!"

So lucky Seth will be going to his new home soon!

And after I fed I unloaded 35 bales of hay... all by myself. See the stack on the right? In yesterday's picture there was nothing on the right...

So all in all a productive enough weekend. Although now that all is said and done, I think I'd have rather gone to Groom Creek...

Randy - I must really, really love you!!!!!

;)

You are awesome! I love reading your blogs and thank you so much for taking Seth and Abner and finding homes for them--that is so wonderful! It sounds like they are going to be really loved and taken care of. Thank you so much!
