Can I Vent?

Thanks :)

I have a 19-year-old who is in her second year of college, still at home but moving to another campus next semester so will have to move out then as the commute is too far.

Right now I'm thinking I won't be missing her AT ALL!

This kid does not handle stress well. Whenever she has "too much" homework, the whole family is supposed to go away and be quiet and leave her alone. And when we don't... WATCH OUT! The whole world revolves around her, you know, and none of the rest of us mean diddly squat!

AND - she jacks MY computer - yup, kicks me off my own computer.

Today was such a day. And I just needed to whine about it a little.

Thanks for listening.

PS I know, I will miss her when she's gone, I really will. But right now, I'd like that chance!

Vent away. I was looking through my blog and was reading how horrible it was living with Cara right before she left for college. Susan, honestly. I had forgotten. She's wonderful now. Just like labor, you'll quickly forget about this prickly time.

Love!

Yup. Go right ahead and vent away.

Ya know, they (whoever 'they' is, I don't even know) always say that when the kids move out on their own, that we parents will miss all their noise, mess and drama.

I'm not going to let it affect me too much, by reminding myself, that the peace, quiet, and cleanliness will only last as long as it takes for grandkids to pop into the picture....then it starts back all over again! lol!

Enjoy that peace when your sweet daughter moves into her new independant roll.....and all your freedom on the computer again :)
