Puppies galore...

Around here we are trying to sell our 4 chihuahua pups...

Then today I got an e-mail from a gal down the road, fellow blogger Pauline who is "Little House in the Desert" on my list... anyway a stray dog showed up and started hanging around, beautiful Siberian Husky...

She left and came back with 2 pups, then left again and came back with 3 more... Pauline tortured me with pictures so I am passing along the favor ;) all the while chanting "I have enough dogs, I have enough dogs, I have enough dogs"...

Mama is sweet as pie but unfortunately has an appetite for chickens and if you read Pauline's blog you know they are trying to live off their land and their chickens are a big part of that. Besides they already have several dogs... so these need to go.

To top it all off, I stopped by to visit Riley and Sidney, his "other mom", today, and see the pups Riley's mom had the same week our chihuahuas were born...

Aren't they adorable?

Mama Polly, who is also Riley's mama.

And that's dad, Lil Bit, who turned his head away just as the camera clicked {sigh}

Brave pups... or is Meg the lab just a good babysitter?

Riley remembered me and gave me a big kiss and whispered in my ear. And his other mama said that Polly was going to be in heat again soon so once she finishes his latest haircut, Riley will be coming home for a while :)

And to get me in even more trouble, Sidney said that Lil Bit was also bred to another female, for pups totally unrelated to Riley, she gets pick of the litter and wants me to come with her to see them, and if we both like the little girl she was told about, I will finally have the dog I have been dreaming about for over 26 years... a tiny Yorkie female! Call me crazy, I won't deny it! But hey I've even had this dog NAMED for over 26 years... the pups are only 4 weeks old so you will have to check back and see what happens...

And now it's off to bed, it's two and a half hours past my bedtime and I am already tired, last night Vada woke me up TWICE walking circles in the bed, just like she did when Taffy Leah had Sarah Beth... so of course I jumped up and got dressed and went outside to check Mary Ellen, who could foal any time now... and NOTHING. The second time Vada woke me up I decided to check EVERYONE just in case but still nothing. So some neighbor, or maybe even just a wild bunny from across the street, must have given birth, because SOMETHING had Vada all stirred up...

what a bunch of cute puppies!! thank you so much for helping us out! The local Siberian Rescue has 2 guys coming out probably tonight even who would like 2 of the puppies and there is a possible interest in the mama--that rescue has helped out a TON
so if that's the case we'll have just 1 puppy left...maybe I can talk the guys into taking all 3--lol--although I know me and my husband will sure be sad to see them go--they are such cute sweet dogs
