Woo Hoo New Phones!

Remember the phone problems at work last week? Just got a box delivered to work, the new phone system... now to figure out how to work it! I did get it all set up and plugged in, but the system has to charge for 7 hours so won't be able to try it out until tomorrow...

Fingers crossed it all works fine!

According to the guy he got them from, they LOVE weeds. They eat HIS weeds even when he puts hay out - BEFORE the hay! AND... they trim mesquite trees too :)

It's hard to tell from a still shot, but my friend Linda's horse Kate LOVES to scratch her belly on the bushes... it is absolutely HILARIOUS, the way she walks into a bush and then weaves back and forth and sideways to scratch her belly... guess it's a mustang thing? Just look at the expression on her face!

Sorting - NOT!

OK today's blog should be all about the sorting clinic I was signed up for. But. IT GOT RAINED OUT.

So, I did chores instead. WOO HOO.

I Made It!

The first 24 hours without my girl, and I lived through it! Odd how I miss my 4-legged kids SO MUCH and can't wait for the 2-legged ones to move out... guess it's the difference in ATTITUDE...

And I didn't even call Toni (the trainer) today! Although I did talk to my friend Melanie and SHE called Toni and reported back {rolling eyes}... but hey, I DIDN'T CALL! {yet...}

Wow. 2009!

Tried to ring in the New Year last night, but we all got tired and went to bed about 11... we figured, what the heck, it's 12:00 SOMEWHERE lol.

Today... we rode. Had a wonderful ride. Great friends. Great food. Lost my cell phone and someone on a quad found it and we found them and I got it back... so there's my New Year Miracle lol.

It was also a very hard sad day for me. I left my Luna with a gal for training... she has never been away from home. I feel like I left my kindergartener at a boarding school... and yes I cried halfway home. I had to call Randy to talk to me on the phone until I got far enough away I wouldn't turn around and go back and get her... I kept seeing her face when I put Katie in the trailer and shut the door and Luna was still standing outside... She was quite surprised and perplexed!

But in a month, I should have her back home and be able to ride her myself... and won't that be something!!!
