Well, OK, a few weeks ago I got an e-mail, answered it, got contact information, waited a bit, got an e-mail with travel plans and a phone number, got a couple of calls and went to the meeting spot to pick her up and drove her back to my ranch.
What amazes me is until Sarah Beth was born, I'd never seen an "appaloosa" donkey ;) and now I have two!!! Except this one is a lovely chocolate color! Just look at the socks too...

She's a bit tall but does need her feet done so not as tall as she looks right now... and she's a bit plump but we will fix that with a good diet! She was rescued by a friend of a friend in Colorado, but they have alpacas and couldn't afford to get her a donkey buddy and felt she was lonely, so they wanted to see her living with other donkeys. I just happen to have what she needed ;) She is sweet as can be and SO HAPPY to have donkey friends! AND bonus, she did NOT have a name so I get to pick!!! I'm getting to know her first, have an idea but want to see if it feels right to her...
And Wiley is head-over-heels in love already!
