When I got home from Little Elden Hannah (the puppies' mom) wasn't doing very well, we pulled the pups since they are eating kibble and she seemed to be getting a little better but I still took her into the vet this morning, long story short it was apparently so stressful that her heart stopped and she is gone. There was a lot going on inside her (residuals from a bout of VF when she was about a year old) and I understand why it happened and I am really not surprised, but so sad that she had to leave her pups. She just turned 3 last month. She was a very sweet girl and will be sorely missed.
Thankfully the puppies have their big brother Sherman, and Vada and Radar, to be good babysitters for them.

Oh, gosh, I am so sorry! What a shock! At least she was able to get her puppies raised...bottle feeding a litter of anything is big work!

Awww, that's so sad!!! She was a sweet dog and I'm sorry she's gone.

Oh no!!! I'm SOOOO sorry that Hannah passed away. She was so sweet. How is Randy doing with the loss? BIG hugs to you all!
